Prayer Voice of Michigan Narrative

Kamal was born into a Sunni Muslim family in the heart of the Middle East.  As a child, he was recruited by the Muslim brotherhood (which is very active in the US) and completed his first terrorist Mission at the age of seven.  As a young man, Kamal came to the United States to recruit as many Christians and Jews as possible for the glory of Allah.  All of this was aimed at implementing cultural Jihad.  But the true God had other plans.  While here, Kamal came to the saving knowledge of Christ.  His life now has a pure focus. First he wants to share the love of God in Christ with Muslims.  Secondly, he is passionate about issuing a challenge to America to wake up. He calls them to an understanding of the dangers within fundamental terrorism, right here in our own backyard.

Welcome to the internet home of National Day of Prayer-Michigan, a ministry of the Prayer Voice of Michigan.  From the Capitol Event held in Lansing to the Upper Peninsula, the National Day of Prayer Michigan is raising its prayer voice to surround our state with prayer.

The National Day of Prayer exists to:
  • raise community awareness for the need to seek God

  • facilitate growth of prayer in our state,

  • network with other state prayer ministries, and . . .

  • provide resources.

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. Our MI National Day of Prayer Task Force's purpose is to encourage participation in the National Day of Prayer. We exist to communicate with every individual the need for personal repentance and prayer, to create appropriate materials, and to mobilize the Christian community to intercede for America’s leaders and its families. The Task Force represents a Judeo Christian expression of the national observance, based on our understanding that this country was birthed in prayer and in reverence for the God of the Bible.
